Triggers
Start from an event, a clock or a call
Run a flow when something happens in an Orbitly app, on a schedule in your time zone, when a webhook is called, when an email arrives or when another flow asks.

An event in an Orbitly app such as a record being created or a payment failing, a schedule, a webhook, a web address that gains new items, an RSS feed, an incoming email, or another flow.
Can I try a flow before it goes live?
Yes. Run a test from the builder first. A flow is saved as a draft and only runs on its own once you switch it on, and each time you switch it on a numbered version is kept.
Do the Slack, Gmail, Google Sheets and Shopify steps talk to my real accounts?
Slack and Shopify use keys you add, and the Google steps use a sign-in. Until an account is connected, those steps return sample results so you can build and test the flow first.
What happens when a step fails?
You can retry the step, carry on anyway, or run a different path. A failed run can be retried from the failed step, flows can retry automatically, and you choose who is told.
Is there AI in flows?
Yes. An AI step can summarise text, extract details, classify text into labels you pick, or draft a reply. You then use the result in later steps.
Can I write my own logic?
Yes. Add a code step or save a function that any flow can call. Code runs in its own worker with a time limit and no network access.
