Small lists, honest subject lines and one clear action. Practical habits for sending email that earns the next open.

Good email marketing is mostly good manners. Write to people who asked to hear from you, say something useful, and make it easy to leave.
Know who you are writing to
Because Campaigns shares the customer record with CRM, you can send to "customers who bought in the last 90 days" instead of one giant list. A smaller, relevant audience beats a big, bored one.
Write the subject line last
Write the email first, then describe it honestly in a few words. If the subject promises something the email does not deliver, you will pay for it on the next send.
One email, one action
Decide what you want the reader to do, and make that the only button. Three calls to action usually produce none.
Respect the unsubscribe
Keep the unsubscribe link visible and honour it immediately. It is the law in many places, and it keeps your list healthy.
Learn from each send
Look at opens and clicks, but also at replies. A reply from a real customer is worth more than any chart.
