OrbitlySprints

Plan backlogs and sprints, track work on a board and see burndown and velocity, without the ceremony that makes people stop updating things.

Pricing coming soon. No card needed to try it.

Take the tour

The whole sprint loop, from the first backlog item to the last retrospective action.

Estimate together

Open voting on any item. Each person picks a card privately, then a manager reveals the votes and applies the agreed points.

  • A point scale from 0 to 34
  • Votes stay hidden until a manager reveals them
  • The point closest to the average becomes the estimate
  • Outliers are easy to spot and ask about
Sprint planning

Commit to what the team can really do

Give the sprint a goal and dates, set the capacity in hours and compare it with what has been estimated, person by person.

  • Goal, dates and capacity per sprint
  • Points and hours side by side
  • Start and complete sprints in one click
Build activity

Builds and commits, beside the work

Connect Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps and mention an item key. Builds, commits and pull requests attach themselves to that item.

  • Jenkins, GitLab and Azure DevOps
  • Events matched by item key
  • See what shipped on every work item
Risks and goals

Keep an eye on what could go wrong

Rank risks by probability times impact, and track the quarter's goals against measurable results, in the same workspace as the work.

  • A risk register ranked by score
  • Goals with measurable key results
  • Switch on only the features you need

Plan

Plan a sprint in one sitting

Rank the backlog, drag the top items into the sprint, check the points against the team's hours and start it.

Deliver

A board the team will keep current

Cards show who owns what, how big it is and what it belongs to. Limits on busy columns stop work piling up.

Estimate

Estimate together, not in turns

Everyone picks a card in private and the votes stay hidden until the manager reveals them, so the first number said does not set the rest.

Learn

See how the sprint is going, then improve it

Burndown against the ideal line, velocity over recent sprints and a retrospective that ends with owned actions.

Do I have to run Scrum?

No. A project is either Scrum, with backlog and sprints, or Kanban, with a board and optional limits on each column.

How do we estimate work?

Give an item story points and, if you like, an estimate in hours. For a group estimate, open voting on the item. Everyone votes in private, then a manager reveals the votes and the point closest to the average is applied.

Can I limit work in progress?

Yes. Each board column can have a limit, and the column is flagged as it fills up.

Does it connect to our build system?

Yes for Jenkins, GitLab and Azure DevOps. Each connection has its own address, and builds, commits and pull requests that mention an item key appear on that item.

Can I bring work over from another tool?

Yes. Import work items into a project from a CSV file.

What else is in the workspace?

Epics, releases, timesheets, meetings with retrospectives, a risk register, goals and an activity feed. An admin can switch each of them on or off.

Set it up in minutes. Add the rest of Orbitly whenever you are ready.
