Track issues

Report bugs and problems, give them a severity and an owner, and follow them to closed.

An issue is a bug or problem, kept apart from your planned tasks. Issues have a severity, an owner and a status, and you can see them for one project or across all of them.

Report an issue

  1. Open the project and choose the Issues tab.
  2. Choose Report an issue.
  3. Enter a Title and a Description that says what went wrong.
  4. Choose a Severity: Minor, Major or Critical. It starts as Major.
  5. Set Assigned to, Priority and a Due date if they apply.
  6. Choose Create.

The tab name shows a count of open issues, for example Issues (1).

You can also choose New task and set Type to Issue.

Work an issue

Click an issue to open it. Change Status as it moves along: To do, In progress, In review, Done. Add comments, subtasks and logged time in the same way as a task. See Add and assign tasks.

The Issues tab lists each issue with its Severity, Owner and Status. Use Search tasks and Only mine to narrow the list.

See issues across projects

Open Issues in the sidebar. It lists every issue in projects you can see, with project, severity, assignee, due date and status. By default it shows open ones. Choose Show closed issues to include finished ones, and Hide closed issues to go back.

Home also shows a count of Open issues.
