Use the board
See tasks in columns by status and move them from one stage to the next.
The Board tab shows the same tasks as the Tasks tab, laid out in columns by status. It is the quickest way to see what is waiting, in progress, in review or finished.
The four columns
Every task has one status, and each status is a column:
- To do
- In progress
- In review
- Done
The number beside each column name is how many tasks it holds. Each card shows the task reference, title, owner and due date.
Move a task
You have two ways:
- Drag the card and drop it in another column.
- On the card, open Move to... and pick the new status. This works without dragging.
Opening a task and changing Status does the same thing. Moving a task to Done also ticks it in the Tasks tab.
Group by person
Use Group by above the board and choose Assignee. The board splits into one row per person, with a count of their open tasks, and an Unassigned row for tasks with no owner. Choose No grouping to go back.
Narrow what you see
The board has the same Search tasks box and Only mine checkbox as the Tasks tab. New task opens the same form.
Board columns and task lists are different
Task lists (To do, Doing, Done by default) are groups you name and set up on the Tasks tab. Board columns are always the four statuses. A task can be in the list Doing and still have the status To do; changing one does not change the other.
