Verify your email

We ask you to confirm your email address once, right after you sign up.

Confirm your address

1. Open the email called Confirm your email address. If you use Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or iCloud, the check-your-inbox screen has a button that opens your inbox.
2. Choose Confirm my email in the message. A page opens with one more button, Confirm my email. Press it.
3. You see "Email confirmed" and can continue.

The extra click is deliberate. Some mail programs open every link to scan it, and a single-use link would be used up before you saw it.

The link did not work

The link works for 3 days and only once.

• "This link does not work". It has expired, was already used, or a newer email replaced it. Use Send a new link on that page, or go back to the check-your-inbox screen and choose Resend email. You can resend once a minute.
• No email at all. Check your spam folder, then use Resend email. If the address was a typo, sign up again with the right one.

Why it matters

Until your address is confirmed you can look around and set up, but you cannot invite people from your organisation. Confirming also keeps your account recoverable if you forget your password.
